Epic Bill Track - EPIC

Online Newsletter, Nov, 1999

EPIC BILL TRACK: TRACKING PRIVACY, SPEECH, AND CYBER-LIBERTIES BILLS IN THE 106TH CONGRESS - (EPIC) - This frequently updated Web page is maintained by the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC). It is an excellent shortcut for quickly learning what Congressional legislation (in either the House or Senate, or both) has been proposed or is in process affecting the Internet and electronic privacy issues.

It is often a shortcut to the THOMAS Web site, Congress' own Web site, by offering links to the specific Web pages on THOMAS. (Links to other related resources for each bill are also provided). EPIC's Bill Track has often been the initial Web site used for researching this newsletter's "Meddling with the Internet" series of articles. This is an excellent resource. It may be accessed at: http://www.epic.org/privacy/bill_track.html
