This database, which spans eight CD-ROM discs, is now available as a single DVD at no extra cost to existing annual subscribers. TRADEMARKSCAN (r) FEDERAL includes all active U.S. trademarks dating back to 1884 and inactive marks since 1984. The database includes the designs/logos for all active trademarks that have them - which numbers over 400,000.

-- Dialog also announced that beginning in 2002, that Dialog OnDisc plans to create DVD versions of all databases which span multiple CD-ROMs, removing the inconvenience caused to customers by loading/networking multiple CD-ROMs. Dialog OnDisc is also offering a free DVD drive to all customers who subscribe to TRADEMARKSCAN (r) FEDERAL on DVD, whether they are existing or new customers.
