AllTheWeb (http://www.alltheweb.com), the Internet search engine designed and operated by FAST (Fast Search and Transfer) of Oslo, Norway, and Wellesley, MA (see review 'Online Newsletter' March 2002 p.1) has announced that AllTheWeb now searches 2.1 billion Web pages versus and exceeds Google's little over 2 billion Web Pages as of June 2002, and is still growing.
With a full refresh cycle of 7-11 days, AllTheWeb covers results from thousands of news sources and hundreds of millions of multimedia, video, MP3, and software files.
Adobe Acrobat files (.pdf) have also been recently added as a new search type file accessible via AllTheWeb.
