Cardinal Health Inc. is now offering its Pyxis Carousel System, a new product that automates the distribution of medication and supplies for hospital pharmacies. The system, which extends Cardinal Health's existing Pyxis line of secure automation products, is designed to save pharmacy floor space by storing supplies vertically. Cardinal Health partnered with MegaStar Systems, a leading provider of automated storage and retrieval technology, to introduce the product. The Pyxis Carousel System provides an ergonomically efficient vertical automated storage and retrieval system that helps maximize workplace productivity and reduce storage and retrieval costs for virtually all medications in the hospital pharmacy.
