When exposed to UV light, the active agent in some drugs can degrade. B. Braun Medical's ULTRABLOCK UV-Resistant Tubing protects light sensitive IV solutions against exposure to UV light. ULTRABLOCK UV-Resistant Tubing helps protect the administration of medications susceptible to UV light degradation by reducing exposure to UV light. Moreover, the transparent tubing allows clinicians to see air bubbles in transfused fluids. Eliminates the need to wrap IV tubing with foil.
