The Card-Start system from J.V. Manufacturing helps you comply with the federal law against baler and compactor operation by minors. The system, which uses the magnetic strip on employee ID cards, is available on the company s Cram-a-Lot balers and compactors and can be retrofitted to most other brands.
When an underage employee passes his or her card through a swipe scanner mounted on or near the compactor. a red light blinks, access is denied and the employee's ID number is logged into the system's memory for reporting.
