Emerson webinar sheds light on AEER as refrigeration efficiency tool

Emerson Climate Technologies has announced that their recent refrigeration industry webinar is now available on their website. The presentation is titled "Accurately Measuring How Your Refrigeration System Operates." It introduces a new method, Annual Energy Efficiency Ratio (AEER).

The webinar discusses an overview of the calculation formula for AEER, used specifically in refrigeration applications. It covers AEER's use of the BIN analysis concept for a measure that is more closely linked to actual energy savings based on ambient temperature.

The 18-minute webinar is presented by Rajan Rajendran, director of applications engineering for Emerson Climate Technologies, Refrigeration division. Rajendran has nearly 20 years of experience in research, development and application of compressor products in refrigeration. He also serves on committees with AHRI and ASHRAE.
