GPS Source's 60 dB amplifier/attenuator

GPS World, Nov, 2004

Pueblo, Colorado-based GPS Source has developed an L1 preamplifier that can be configured as an L1/L2 amplifier without a filter. The device offers 60 dB attenuation, gain control in 1 dB digital increments via-push button or RS232, and is USCG beacon frequency compatible. Ideal for re-radiation and automatic test equipment (ATE) applications as well as for general GPS manufacturing facilities, the amplifier/attenuator offers integrators an array of connector options.

The device can operate via an external 6-30V DC powersupply, standard AC sources (U.S. or European), or 3-16V DC via coaxial.
