Sepura selects QinetiQ GPS

Cambridge, England-based Sepura, a supplier of TETRA terminals (TErrestrial Trunked RAdio, a global standard for digital private mobile radios), has selected GPS technology from QinetiQ of Farnborough, Hampshire, UK, to provide public safety organizations with real-time tracking and enhanced communications.

The Sepura SRP2000 sGPS unit integrate a QinetiQ's GPS module within an existing Sepura radio product; the combo now accounts for more than 90 percent of Sepura orders.
