The new uPatch100 Module from Fastrax Ltd., is an OEM GPS receiver module with integrated patch antenna, based on a Sony chipset. Measuring 28 X 28 X 7 millimeters and weighing 10 grams, it is designed for mass-market consumer products such as GPS mouse-type smart antennas, PDA accessories, and other portable tracking and navigation devices. The 12-channel, single frequency receiver offers reported accuracy of 3 meters CEP, 6 meters 2drms, unaided acquisition of -139 dBm, and typical cold start of 38 seconds. It can be factory configured for either RS232 or CMOS level serial interface. Fastrax, Helsinki, Finland.
