Data integration

GPS World, Dec, 2004

Trimble's new software extension for GPS Analyst allows mapping and GIS professionals to process and differentially correct GPS data directly inside the ArcGIS software environment. The application reportedly can improve GPS data accuracy to between 10 meters and 50 centimeters, depending on the GPS receiver and system's operating environment. The application requires ArcView, ArcEditor, or ArcInfo version 8.3, 9.0, or later, and 25 MB of free disk space. Trimble, Sunnyvale, California, Colorado.
