The SR20 from Leica Geosystems is designed for land surveyors and is packaged with Leica Geo Office. Measuring 21.5 X 9 X 5 centimeters, and weighing 0.652 kilograms, this 12-channel L1 receiver consumes 2.1 watts powered by 7.2V internal lithium-ion batteries, and uses a 240 MHz RISC floating-point processor. The SR20 has reported centimeter-level accuracy using static or kinematic data collection and real-time sub-meter accuracy utilizing SBAS corrections. It can be set up as a reference station, a static and kinematic receiver, a navigator to locate monuments, and can be upgraded for feature and attribute GIS data collection. Functionality can also be added with external devices via Bluetooth or serial interface and is available in one or two unit packages. Leica Geosystems, Heerbrugg, Switzerland.
