SimAUTO from Spirent upgrades its multi-channel simulators by providing support for multi-sensor applications in in-vehicle navigation systems (IVNSs). SimAUTO enables simultaneous emulation of multiple dead reckoning (DR) sensors with GPS radio frequency (RF) technology. Features include remote operation from a file or real time from a vehicle sensor, NMEA-to-motion data conversion, data streaming making vehicle trajectory available in real time, and error modeling to simulate the presence of noise, precession, temperature drift and wheel spin.
