GPS Industries Inc., a provider of wireless and GPS-enabled communication and management solutions, has partnered with Jencess Software & Technologies Inc. (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) to introduce an integrated GPS-enabled wireless back-end golf course management system.
The technology alliance is aimed at integrating GPS Industries' Inforemer Wi-Fi/GPS business solutions embeding Navman's Jupiter 12 GPS receivers with Jencess' suite of golf industry back office and facility management software applications.
Mobile display units will give golfers and course managers access to GPS location information and integrated wireless communications for improved point-of-sale services, online reservations, real-time tee-off schedules, distance-to-pin data, and much more.
