Since our establishment in 1969, Allen Instruments & Supplies has been a stable force and leading supplier of innovative measurement products and technologies to the surveying, engineering, mining, construction, and mapping/GIS industries. In 1999 Allen Instruments added laser scanning technology to its portfolio of products, and in the last five years has lead the way in the introduction of this technology to such diverse industries as surveying, filmmaking, manufacturing and mining. Major Products

Allen Instruments is one of the country's leading distributors for Trimble Navigation a manufacturer of navigation systems and software based on the US government-owned global positioning system (GPS) satellite network. Trimble's surveying and mapping GPS equipment tracks time, longitude, latitude, and altitude. Familiar names now under the Trimble name are Geodimeter, a robotic total station manufacturer, Spectra Precision, a construction equipment and laser manufacturer, Tripod Data Systems, a data collection systems and software manufacturer and, most recently, Mensi, a 3D laser scanning system manufacturer. In addition to Trimble, Allen Instruments represents such registered lines of equipment as Sokkia, Seco, Omni, Chicago Steel Tape, Schonstedt, and Lufkin. Allen Instruments is an ESRI Business Partner. And in addition to Mensi, Allen Instruments represents Riegl 3D Laser Scanning Systems.

Allen Instruments strives to set itself apart from its competitors by the value added services provided before and after the sale to each and every customer to keep their companies productive and profitable. In three fully stocked showrooms in Arizona and Southern California, Allen provides customers the full range of supplies and accessories needed for the operation of their equipment and jobs. Each store location provides factory trained and certified service technicians and service facilities, and maintains a full line of rental equipment for those customers with additional needs or interests in experimenting with the newest technologies. Certified trainers and classes are also available.
