Jayanta Ray

With this issue, Jayanta Ray, group manager at Accord Software and Systems Private Limited, Bangalore, India, joins the magazine's Editorial Advisory Board. Accord focuses on GPS/GNSS and avionics software. It developed an aerospace GPS-SBAS receiver that was certified by the Federal Aviation Administration in 2007 and a 24-channel GPS/GLONASS receiver, and with Analog Devices has created a new chipset for indoor GPS.

Ray has worked in GPS since 1992. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Calgary in 2000 and teaches a graduate course there every other year.
