WILLIAM "RED" WHITTAKER leads the Robot City development effort. He is the Fredkin Research Professor of Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute. He received his B.S. from Princeton, and his M.S. and Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University.

LOUIS NASTRO received an M.A. in strategic studies and an M.S. from the Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences, University of North Dakota. He is director of Land Products at Applanix Corporation.
