Jamaican import lager Red Stripe announced the launch of a promotion designed to elevate the brand to national consumer awareness through TV and radio advertising. Consistent with the Red Stripe signature of non-traditional themes, marketing efforts will capitalize on celebratory occasions such as Jamaican Independence Day [JID]--an annual Jamaican holiday relatively unknown in the United States. On premise accounts will be chosen to host events as a grassroots way of reaching out to consumers. P05 materials, such as pennants, table tents, hammocks and grills (for purchase where legal), will be available to both on-premise and off-premise accounts.
