Polish Zubrowka

Cheers, Jan-Feb, 2005

Polish Zubrowka returns, now called Bison Grass Vodka. Banned here in the late 1970's, it's back with a distillation that maintains flavor and distinctiveness of the added bison grass without objections from U.S. authorities. The 82-proof vodka is charcoal filtered, triple-distilled from potatoes, and is said to capture the flavor, bouquet and clarity of a premium Polish spirit in a distinctive green-tinted bottle featuring a blade of Polish bison grass.
