Drink smart

Your guests are right when they think they're smarter after a few drinks. Researchers at the University of Auckland in New Zealand recently discovered that mice that drank the equivalent of two to three glasses of alcohol a day scored better on a range of intelligence tests than those that did not.

Inebriated mice were not smart at all, however, so there is such a thing as too much of a good thing.
