Limonata
We ran a recipe last winter that was mistakenly credited to Julie Reiner, NYC's Flatiron Lounge. That wasn't hers, but this is.

2 oz. Absolut Citron
1/2 oz. Limonce Limoncello
1 oz. fresh lemon juice
3/4 oz. simple syrup
Build all in a mixing glass with ice. Shake vigorously and strain well into a Martini glass. Garnish with two fresh slices of lemon folded into an "S" and skewered with a toothpick to make the Flatiron signature Yin-Yang garnish.

Dabney McKinley, bartender at Blue Bar at Bayard's restaurant in NYC created this refreshing cocktail.

1 oz. triple sec
1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
sprig of fresh mint
Combine all and shake vigorously.

Bill Davis, Aqua Bar, Lancaster, PA, offers this one.
1 1/4 oz. Finlandia Lime Vodka
1/2 oz. Island Blue Schnapps
splash Cointreau
splash pineapple juice
Chill and strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with lime round.
GC Plata Gran Apple
Gran Centenario offers this one.
1 3/4 oz. Gran Centenario Silver Tequila
3 1/2 oz. fresh apple juice
1/2 oz. fresh squeezed orange juice
1/4 oz. squeeze lime wedge
Combine all over ice in a mixing glass. Shake vigorously.
Strain over fresh ice into a Collins or Highball glass. Garnish with a green apple slice.
Nutty Choco-Nana
Here is the signature drink at the Wickliffe Inn in Burlington, IA.
1/2 oz. banana liqueur
2 oz. Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur
splash hazelnut liqueur
Mix all in shaker filled with ice.
Shake and pour into Martini glass swirled with chocolate sauce.
Garnish with sugar cookie straw.
Cajun Midnight Pie Martini
Tom Beech, senior bartender at The Chateau, Tannersville, PA, offers this one.
1 oz. Absolut Vanilia
1 oz. white creme de cacao
1 oz. Frangelico
1/2 oz. Bacardi 8
Shake all over ice and strain into a Martini glass. Add cherry.
White Frostbite
4 oz. Ocean Spray White Cranberry Juice Drink
1 oz. coconut flavored rum
1/2 oz. sweetened lime juice
Pour juice, coconut rum, and lime juice over crushed ice, stir. Garnish with lime slice.
Chocolate Mousse
Tim Collins, barkeep at Pretzel's Bar & Grill, Winter Springs, FL, shakes this chocolate concoction.
1 oz. Three Olives Chocolate Vodka
1 oz. dark creme de cacao
1 oz. Baileys
splash of milk or cream
Build drink in tall glass filled with ice. Shake well.
