Canandaigua Wine Company has changed its name to Centerra Wine Company, which the company says better reflects its "evolution and stature as a premium and superpremium wine industry leader."

The company, which also sports a new logo, will continue to be headquartered in Canandaigua, N.Y., and is one of the four independent operating companies within Constellation Wines U.S. The Canandaigua (N.Y.) Winery will retain its name and operate as part of Centerra Wine Company.
