The Seattle Restaurant Consortium, an ad hoc group of city operators promoting dining out in the Emerald City, last month held a food and cocktail promotion. The Great Seattle Shake, in conjunction with MasterCard. The event, which ran from May 1 through May 22, featured nearly 100 specialty cocktails and appetizers from 23 of the city's top cocktail lounges. Each operation put together a unique menu with at least three signature drinks and three appetizers, highlighting each establishment's particular food and beverage style. Customers could select two cocktails and an appetizer from any restaurant for $15.
