Sweet Charity

Gran Centenario Ultra-Premium Tequila and master mixologist Dale DeGroff
teamed up to create this for the Broadway revival.
1 1/2 oz. Gran Centenario
 Plata Tequila
1/2 oz. fresh squeezed grape
 fruit juice
1/2 oz. fresh squeezed orange
 juice
1/2 oz. premium creme de
  cassis (Trenel Fil or Marie
  Brizard Cassis Bordeaux)
lemon wedge
frozen melon ball (honeydew
  or musk)
Freeze melon ball overnight. Place all in a cocktail shaker. Squeeze in
lemon wedge and drop into shaker. Shake all well with ice and strain
into a chilled Martini glass. Garnish with frozen melon ball.

Green With Envy
Aquavit in NYC shakes this signature cocktail.
2 oz. Aquavit New York White
 Cranberry
1 oz. Midori
3 oz. pineapple juice
dash of sour
Shake all in an ice-filled tumbler and pour into a Martini glass.
Garnish with zests of orange.

Caribbean Cool-Aid
Barkeeps Inanda Ulrich and Manda Newman at Mino's Cucina Italiana,
Wausau, WI, created this drink.
1 1/2 oz. Hpnotiq
1 oz. Bacardi Limon
1 oz. lemonade
1/2 oz. triple sec
splash blue curacao
Shake all with ice. Strain into a chilled Martini glass. Garnish with an
orange twist.

P.D. Special
William H. Hill, III, bar manager at Geoffrey's Pub, Plattsburgh, NY,
pours this unique beer mixture.
1 part Hoegaarden Belgian wheat
 beer
1 part Framboise Lambic (raspberry
 beer)
1 part Guinness Stout
In a Hoegaarden beer glass (about 14 oz.), pour in the wheat beer
one-third of the way. Pour in the second beer equal to the first. Pour
in the stout with a layering spoon, allowing it to float.

Malibu Breeze
Malibu Caribbean Rum developed this one for pineapple lovers.
1 part Malibu Pineapple Rum
1 part orange juice
1 part cranberry juice
Mix all over ice; strain into a tall glass with ice. Garnish with a
pineapple wedge.

Mocha Buzz
Van Gogh Espresso Vodka created this drink for its just-launched
espresso vodka.
1 oz. Van Gogh Espresso
  Vodka
1 shot of espresso
1 oz. chocolate cream
  liqueur
1 oz. half and half
Mix all; garnish with a drop of whipped cream.

White Velveteen
42 Below Vodka brings us this variation of the Cosmopolitan.
1 1/2 oz. 42 Below Pure Vodka
3/4 oz. Frangelico
3/4 oz. white cranberry juice
3 wedges of lime
Squeeze the limes into a shaker, add spirits and juice. Fill a shaker
with ice, and shake well for 10 seconds. Strain into a chilled Martini
glass. Garnish with zest of lemon peel.

Texas Bluebonnet
John Harvath, f&b director, Renaissance Austin (TX) Hotel, created this
drink for Cruzan Rum.
1 oz. Cruzan Estate Light Rum
1 oz. blue curacao
2 oz. pineapple juice
splash of Sprite
Combine all and shake well with ice in a mixing glass. Strain and serve.
