Cheers Conference 2006

Cheers, Oct, 2005

The annual Cheers Beverage Conference was all set for our trip to New Orleans next February, but the aftermath of hurricane Katrina has changed that. So we're heading back to Irvine and the Hyatt Regency Irvine. The conference has proven itself as the leading industry event for on-premise beverage buyers and beverage marketing executives. Program content for the general sessions & breakouts, and all face to face activities, are focused on providing ideas and information that on-premise beverage decision-makers can take back to their businesses and put to work immediately to build and market profitable beverage programs.

And don't plan to leave this event early because the annual conference highlight takes place on Thursday evening for the annual Cheers beverage extravaganza. At this event the on-premise products and ideas come to life, thanks to our valued sponsors' participation and the creativity of some of the best bar and beverage masters in the country. For the first time this year we will feature celebrity chef partners who will create special foods using beverage products and also great pairings.

Steve Olson, aka WineGeek, returns as our mc, Adams Beverage Group ceo Marion Minor will lead a discussion on consumer trends, Brinker International ceo Doug Brooks will keynote, and the talents of wine and spirits guru Doug Frost, beer maven Stephen Beaumont, bar czar Robert Plotkin, wine wizard Tim Hanni, hospitality law honcho Stephen Barth, Tim Johnson of Champps and Debbie Allison of Darden Restaurants will all be put to good use.
