Huge crowds lined up to see some of the world's top flair bartenders as they competed at the SKYY Vodka World Flair Bartending Championship at Universal CityWalk, Orlando, in September. More than 50 bartenders from six countries competed to win a prize package worth more than $25,000 in cash and prizes.
Last year's third place winner, Argentina-native Christian Delpech now working at Harrah's Carnival Court, Las Vegas, landed the coveted title of SKYY World Flair Bartending Champion.

Judging for the competition was based on flair, speed and accuracy, and showmanship. Christian's brother Rodrigo, who also works at Harrah's, took second place. Three women finished among the top six in two categories, and word from the event is that the crowd roared when second place winner Rodrigo successfully juggled six bottles of liquor at the same time without dropping any. Patrick Henry Creative Promotions, Inc., an agency specializing in marketing promotions and training for the food and beverage industry, based in Houston, created and produced the event.
