Pumpkin Pie Cocktail

The Carnegie Club, in NYC, serves this festive drink, created by Kenneth McClure, f & b director, Hospitality Holdings.

2 parts Absolut Vanila vodka
1 part pumpkin schnapps
splash of cream

Shake all in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with sprinkled nutmeg and a cherry.

CosMosaic

Matt Rinn, gm/wine director, at Mosaic, Scottsdale, AZ, created this one

2 1/2 oz. Charbay Blood Orange vodka
1/2 oz. Cointreau
splash fresh key lime juice
splash cranberry juice

Mix all, serve up. Garnish with a slice of blood orange.

Teacher's Pet

Butter, a nightclub in NYC, shakes this signature drink, created by Vox Vodka.

1/4 oz. simple syrup
2 oz. Vox Green Apple
Champagne

Shake first two over ice and pour into Champagne flute. Fill with Champagne. Garnish with slice of limoncello-marinated apple.

Corzo Ginger Cosmo

Ben Pundole, mixologist at Sky Bar, Miami Beach, concocted this cocktail.

2 parts Corzo Silver Tequila
1 part triple sec
2 parts cranberry juice
fresh ginger

In a shaker, muddle the ginger, add the others, plus ice. Shake well and strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with fresh raspberries.

Sapa Mint Lemonade

Brian Matzkow, owner of Sapa, NYC, composed this one.

Muddled pinch of mint, with tsp. of sugar and 2 lime wedges
2 1/2 oz. citrus vodka
1 oz. lemon juice
1 oz. simple syrup

Shake well and serve in a rocks glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

Scorpion Stinger

Dale DeGroff, president, Museum of the American Cocktail, created this.

3/4 oz. mezcal
3/4 oz. Kahlua Especial
cacao powder
dried chili powder

Coat rim of shotglass with mix of cocao and chili powders. Place spirits in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into the prepared shotglass.

Cherry Limeade

Sevara Tyrell, bartender at Zubar's, in Dallas, TX, is the originator of this drink.

2 oz. Effen Black Cherry Vodka
1 fresh lime
1 maraschino cherry
7-Up

Pour cherry vodka in pint glass. Cut lime in half and muddle with cherry. Add mixture, ice and 7-Up to glass. Garnish with lime wheel and cherry.

Velvet Williams

Anistatia Miller and Jared Brown teamed to create this at Southern Comfort's Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans last August.

2 oz. fresh or canned coconut water
2 oz. pineapple juice
1 1/2 oz. dry gin
1 splash Cointreau
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 egg white

Mix all and shake vigorously over ice. Strain into a cocktail glass.

Recently launched Phillips Union Whiskeys offers this energizing drink.

1 part Phillips Union Cherry Whiskey
3 parts energy drink

Chill a shot of Phillips Union Cherry and drop into a low-ball glass filled with a chilled energy drink.
