TMC's KTBL5600XP backpack blower
Outdoor Power Equipment, Oct, 2003
TMC's KTBL5600XP is one of the most powerful blowers currently available on the market and the most powerful blower certified for sale in California. This backpack blower combines a 48.6-cc Kawasaki engine, which meets both CARB Tier II and EPA Phase 2 emission standards, with TMC's proprietary single-piece molded fan housing and lightweight aluminum fan to generate 625 cfm of air volume out of the pipes at a noise level of only 70 dBA. In addition, the KTBL5600XP incorporates components specifically designed to increase its durability and make it ideal for daily commercial use. The single-piece molded fan housing resists warping and the subsequent air leakage that affects most 2-piece designs. Extensive use of metal instead of plastic in the frame, throttle lever and swiveling throttle lever mount protect it from damage during use and transport. The KTBL5600XP is currently available to authorized TMC dealers and distributors at a suggested retail price of $489.95.
