4. Iveco Motors' N45 MST

Iveco Motors' N45 MST is a 2-valves-per-cylinder, turbocharged, liquid-cooled, diesel engine with a 4-cylinder inline configuration. The engine features a mechanical injection system and a narrow gear train with balancers located in the bottom of the crank case to cancel out vibration. The N45 MST has a displacement of 4.5 liters and produces a maximum power rating of 111 horsepower at 2,200 rpm. Plus, it complies with CARB Tier III and EPA Phase 3 emissions standards.
