Boat/US Magazine, July, 1999
Fans of "Ship Shape TV" who have watched host John Greviskis repair and rejuvenate scores of boats over the past few years will now have the opportunity to have their boat repaired and, perhaps, have the project filmed for a future episode of America's favorite boat improvement show!
A "Ship Shape TV" contest is now underway in which one Grand Prize winner will be selected from everyone who has filled out a confidential viewer survey on "Ship Shape TVs" Web site, www.shipshapetv.com. Viewers without Internet access can request a survey by writing to Ship Shape TV, P.O. Box 31561, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida 33420.
The survey asks viewers what specific project they would like to have "Ship Shape TV' do for them aboard their vessel. The "Ship Shape TV" crew will fly out to the grand prize winner's home port, do the repair work (up to $25,000) and film the project requested aboard the winner s vessel.
Although there are no promises, Greviskis says that there may even be a spot for a special guest appearance by the Grand Prize winner.
Until the Grand Prize drawing is made, a "Ship Shape TV" tee shirt will be given away each week to one viewer who completes the survey.
Participants must be at least 18 years old and own a registered or documented vessel. Certain restrictions apply. The contest closes on Nov. 26, 1999.
