* The government has given the go-ahead, and up to 402 million [pounds sterling], for a new Eurostar maintenance depot linked to the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL) to be built at Temple Mills near Stratford in east London. It will come into service in 2007 when Eurostar trains start operating from London St Pancras International.
