ALSTOM has received an order from Buenos Aires metro, Argentina, for 16 cars to extend five-car trains to six cars

ALSTOM has received an order from Buenos Aires metro, Argentina, for 16 cars to extend five-car trains to six cars. Alstom has currently delivered six of 16 five-car trains from a contract that was signed in 1999 and reactivated in December 2004. They are in service on Line D between Catedral and Congreso de Tucuman.
