International Railway Journal, May, 2004

Fourteen days after the inauguration of the Korean high-speed train, KTX (page 18), which plies between the capital Seoul and the second city, Busan, the operator Korail carried its one millionth high-speed passenger--a 70-year old gentleman who was given flowers and 10 free KTX travel passes. If this level of support is maintained, KTX will carry its 10 millionth passenger in September.
