Amtrak has awarded a $US 80 million contract for spare parts and technical assistance for its Acela fleet of high-speed trains to Alstom

Amtrak has awarded a $US 80 million contract for spare parts and technical assistance for its Acela fleet of high-speed trains to Alstom. Under the deal, Alstom will manage the supply chain to deliver overhaul packages, corrective maintenance materials, and scheduled maintenance kits for the trains.
