Keep Your 10/22 Barrel Hot With A Hot Lips

I shot several bricks of .22 LR ammo during a recent ground squirrel hunt. This was made possible by an abundance of ground squirrels, four days of great weather and Butler Creek's innovative Hot Lips Loader. The loader is designed for use with Butler Creek's Hot Lips or Steel Lips. accessory magazines for the 10/22, but works equally well with Ruger's rotary-feed factory-issue clips.

The device makes reloading 10/22 magazines extremely quick and easy. Simply dump a 50-round box of .22 LR loads into the feeding hopper, close the lid and clip an empty magazine in place. Give the loader a few shakes, then turn a rotating wheel.

When the wheel quits turning, remove the loaded magazine and replace it with an empty. This is "must have" equipment for anyone who does much shooting with a Ruger 10/22. You can buy one for around $25.
