Two classics

Guns Magazine, Jan, 2009 by Edwin L. Orenberg

Back when the world was flat (it still is) out of the West came two knights to do battle over their respective choice of weapons. They were called Sir Skeeter and Sir Long Bill. They parried every once in a while in print with their ideas.

Now you have reactivated the fine jousting principles with the Old man and the handsome stranger. They did a fine job, but the marginal calibers .44 and .45 are not the stuff that myths are made of. The old man discussed in the back the only true caliber to adorn the pages of print. Yes, the .38 WCF.

Have fun bringing more tournaments for jousting to the pages of GUNS and American Handgunner. By the way, I have all the issues of American Handgunner, including Volume 1, Number 1.

Thanking you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter, I am,

Edwin L. Orenberg
