For those who need an extra-rugged, rock-solid folder, Buck introduces the 850 Bravo to their tactical line. Made in America, the new Bravo features a very smooth 1-hand open/close system, including a thumb stud on the blade. The Bravo's extra-beefy blade utilizes unique Besh Wedge technology. This results in a triple-edge point design to generate superior tip strength, as well as full-length blade strength. The 3-1/2" modified tanto blade is made of 154 CM stainless steel, glass beadblasted for a corrosion-resistant, non-reflective finish and is available in either a partially serrated or non-serrated version. It has been heat treated to Rc 59-61. As with all Buck Knives, the blade has been finished with advanced Edge2X technology, which makes it sharper out of the box, able to hold an edge longer, and easier to re-sharpen. The handle is textured GIO to ensure a solid, slip-resistant grip without gloves. A stainless steel reversible belt/pocket clip makes it accessible for right- or left-hand use.
