Court deals blow to NJ bear hunt

A New Jersey appeals court has ruled the state's 2005 comprehensive black bear management policy was not properly adopted. The decision will give the state commissioner of environmental protection the bargaining power to stop bear hunts for the foreseeable future, the New Jersey Herald reports.--Courtesy NSSF
