New Sidekick muzzlelouder - New Products

Guns Magazine, May, 2004

From H&R 1871

H&R 1871 has expanded its line of muzzloloading rifles to include the new Sidekick. Key features include 209 ignition system, special primer carrier for easy maintenance and a telescoping brass ramrod. Other standard features are a 24-inch barrel with 1 in 28-inch twist. Williams fiber-optic sights, ventilated recoil pad and swivel studs. Available in choice of blued barrel with walnut-finished hardwood stock (pictured) or stainless steel barrel with black synthetic stock.

The BATF has ruled that because of the Sidekick's break-open design it may be purchased without a NICS check or FFL paperwork. Contact Marlin Firearms 100 Kenna Dr., North Haven. CT 06473, telephone: [203] 239-5621. FAX: [203] 234-7991, Website: www.marlinfirearms.com
