Taurus International's new Model M17 eight-shot revolver is chambered for the hot .17 Hornady Magnum Rimfire cartridge. The 17-grain polycarbonate filled hollow point boat tail bullet delivers a muzzle velocity of about 2,500 fps. The .17 HMR is nearly half the size of the .22 Long Rifle and 25 percent more powerful than a .22 Magnum.
