The IPS 3000 Series IP Storage Switches are used for connecting Fibre Channel end systems, such as serves and storage devices, to SoIP. They can also be used to connect existing Fibre Channel SANs to each other or to native IP SANs. The 2000 Series Storage Switches connect SCSI end systems to SoIP, while the 1000 Series Storage Gateways are used for connecting IP or Fibre Channel SANs over lossy, congested networks, as they have highly robust WAN facilities. The SANvergence Management Suite. is comprised of software management tools used to manage an IP storage fabric consisting of Nishan's swiches and gateways. The graphical interfaces of these tools simplify the setup of the IPS family through their intuitive displays.
With the power of SoIP's interoperability, Nishan's technology is poised to fundamentally alter the market landscape for storage area networking, opening new multi-billion dollar markets and application categories. Nishan's IPS 2000 and 3000 Series switches are available now, with prices starting at under $10,000.
