Cowboy shooters take note: Dillon Precision is out with a gorgeous new coffeetable book on cowboy shooting called Beyond The Wild Bunch: The FastGrowing Sport Of Cowboy Action Shooting. Featuring more than 200 color photos from Handgunner photojournalist Nyle Leatham, the book is written by veteran cowboy shooter and co-founder of Winter Range, Gary Kieft.
Beyond The Wild Bunch contains chapters on selecting guns for SASS shooting, where to buy leathergoods, a complete glossary of cowboy shooting suppliers and a chapter on period cowboy clothing, in addition to chapters on gunsmithing and ammo selection.
