8e6 Technologies, a provider of high volume Internet filtering solutions, has been selected by the Arkansas Department of Information Systems for use on its 65,000 workstations throughout the state of Arkansas. 8e6 will replace N2H2's Bess product. The Arkansas Department of Information Systems provides Internet service for all of Arkansas's K-12 schools, libraries, higher education institutions and state agencies throughout the state.

Currently, only the K-12 networks are filtered, with some pilot programs planned for the libraries.
