According to QED's Technology Purchasing Forecast, the most common brand of instructional computer in schools today is the Macintosh. Meanwhile, almost half of the districts surveyed report that they own wireless devices, three-quarters of which are laptops. Another third say they're going to buy wireless devices this year. And one out of ten districts plan to buy all wireless computers this school year.
