Trocar ventilation tube

Ear, Nose & Throat Journal, May, 2007

KURZ Medical, Inc., recently introduced its Titanium Ventilation Tubes to the U.S. market, including the self-seating Trocar Tube. This unique, trocar-mounted tube is inserted without prior paracentesis simply by piercing the tympanic membrane. Withdrawing the trocar allows the surgeon to place the vent tube in an optimal anatomic location for maximum efficacy.

KURZ Vent Tubes are designed for high therapeutic demands and efficiency. They feature excellent biocompatibilty and smooth surfaces that facilitate secretion drainage. The tubes are available in different shapes for both short- and long-term ventilation purposes.
