Object Design Releases Xml Data Server Beta

Computergram International, Jan 8, 1999

Object Design Inc has released a beta version of what it claims is the industry's first extensible markup language (XML) data server. The Burlington, Massachusetts-based object database company says its eXcelon product can be used to build XML enterprise web apps, as well as a data management system for new XML-based applications and an application cache management system for existing data sources.

Excelon is available now for free download from Object Design's web site.
