European E-Hosting Consolidation

Computergram International, Oct 12, 1999

Integra SA, a French e-commerce hosting firm, has strengthened its hand for the second time in a week, paying 1.8m euros ($1.9m) to acquire Lander, a Spanish hosting firm, and 5.1m euros ($5.4m) for German application service provider inTouch GmbH.

With new branches in Frankfurt and Madrid, Paris-based Integra seems to be ticking off major sites on the European grand tour. Earlier this year it snapped up Aligraphix, headquartered in Oxford, UK. The next stops on the tour are scheduled for Scandinavia and Southern Europe - probably Italy. According to its second quarter figures, Integra is growing at 156% and has revenue of 2m euros ($2.1m) for the quarter, 3.5m ($3.7m) for the half.
