Proha Makes Debut on Helsinki Exchange

Finnish IT services and software company Proha Oyj debuted on the Helsinki stock exchange on 15 October, after an initial public offering that raised 5.46m euros ($5.94m) for the company. The company set the price of the shares in its IPO at 7.80 euros ($8.49) after setting a price range of 7.00 euros-7.80 euros ($7.62-$8.49).

The Helsinki-based company provides project management services, where it represents the US company Artemis Management Systems Inc; software testing tools, where it represents Mercury Interactive Corp; and applications development. It had a net income of 1.9m markka ($340,000) on revenue of 18.8m markka ($3.34m) in the year ending February 28, 1999.
