TSMC Records Record Monthly Sales in July

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co has announced record monthly sales for July of NT$6.58bn ($205m), up 117.3% year-on-year and 14.9% from June. Revenues

in the seven months to the end of July totaled NT$36.32 bn ($1.14bn), up 19.6% from the same period a year ago. "As a result of continued growth in the integrated circuit market, the company's capacity was fully utilized again in July 1999," said company spokesman Y.C. Huang.
