Razorfish Studios Buys Disinformation - Or So It Says

Computergram International, August 13, 1999

Razorfish Studios Inc claims to have acquired The Disinformation Company Ltd, maker of a portal dedicated to counter-culture and conspiracy theories, in a cash and stock transaction. Yet by the very nature of disinformation, how can we be sure that this is true? The companies say their mutual confidence in the merger is based on an existing close working relationship.

Razorfish Studios designed, hosted and provided technical support for Disinformation since early 1993, and has hosted the site in its Soho offices since 1997. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, suggesting that someone, somewhere, has something to hide.
